D-Day Tomorrow

Well, actually Saturday is the real D-day. Tomorrow though I'm going to practice, or maybe sneak in day one without anyone knowing.  So today and tomorrow I will be menu planning...which seems kind of futile when there are only 4-5 foods to work with.  Turkey, cabbage, iceberg lettuce, pears and maybe garlic and safflower oil. Breakfast: cabbage, lunch: turkey, dinner: turkey and cabbage dessert: pears. Oh boy.  oh and I did get an OK for potato chips, yippee! Eggs will be the first thing to add in.

I want to chart behavior and changes each day also. Yesterday and Today will be my baseline.

Ruth: She was a real grump yesterday.  Defiant and sensory sensitive it the morning, and hungry in the afternoon. But, she made it through a play date without much of a snack after school. right before dinner she had to be disciplined by daddy.  I really need to write these things down when they are happening I can't remember exactly what the infraction was but she was being very contrary. She seemed better after dinner

Today she woke with almost wet pants. She was her usual slow and testy self. Every prod to hurry is met with anger. But we made it to school.

Sam: He has been more vocal than usual I think, more sensory seeking.  banging, touching, being loud the kissing noises are really irritating. While doing homework yesterday he was kind of spacy which is very usual.  Getting him to focus on reading without moving, wiggling and looking away was a challenge, but he worked through it.

Today he woke up fine, got dressed and ready for school without a problem.

I'm going to make a big batch of turkey cabbage soup for dinner and for their lunches tomorrow.  I am not sure how we will get through this weekend...only by God's grace I'm sure.
